I love my oak tree and sometimes wonder if it could talk the history it could tell. Someone saved it when our house was built many years ago. I say a little prayer for the tree whenever we have a major wind storm like Sandy. My neighbor calls it "your darned tree" because it sits on the corner of our lot and she gets many of the leaves that come down.
