Episode 2 Charting Your Way

I explain how I prepare a chart for knitting.

I finished Brandywine in the "Ribbit" colorway from The Woolen Rabbit.

Shalom (free pattern by Meghan McFarlane) was finished once, maybe twice, then frogged. I coin a new word for knitters:  Frufo.  A finished project that has been frogged.  (Frogged + UFO)
Cascade Ecological Wool is a bargain.
Schoolhouse Press has a nice large chart keeper.
McCallum Bagpipes...my pipes!
Celtic Cross Pipes and Drums

Recipe for Salmon
The Rub: 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp paprika

The Sauce:
1 Stick butter, softened
3 to 4 TBSP fresh basil, chopped
3 to 4 TBSP chopped green onion
freshly squeezed lime juice to taste.  I use about 2 TBSP

This is way more butter than you need but it is good leftover on sandwiches.  Easily halved.

Thank you for the great tips on chart preparation. I'm very new to knitting lace and recently finished Brandywine. I can see that these tips would have made for a smoother project.

One thing people new to lifelines need to know--and of course I found this out the hard way--is that however you run your lifeline through your stitches don't run it through any stitch markers you may be using. And I did it twice!

Enjoyed the show!
