I agree with you about homemade hummus being so much better than purchased. I do use bottled lemon juice often.
Also a friend shared sunflower seed hummus, substituting sunflower seeds for garbanzos. Just soak 1 cup of sunflower seeds in water over night, drain & use in place of the garbanzos.
Also Thanks for the Brooklyn Haberdashery lovely pictures. This renewed my interest in embroidery.
